Tundalaya Publishing is a small, independent press creating heartfelt picture books and activity titles for kids ages 3–8.
We publish stories where determination, kindness, and being yourself matter more than fitting in.
Our books come from real life — real dogs, real moments, real lessons that resonate with kids and parents alike.
We're a small Colorado press creating books we'd want our own kids to read, without compromise or formula.
A read-aloud picture book and a companion activity book, both starring a real-life Bernedoodle named Finn.
A heartwarming comeback-kid story for ages 3–8. When the other dogs laugh at Finn's big paws and bigger dreams, he doesn't quit — he digs deeper, leans on his teammates, and learns that the underdog wins by being completely, wonderfully himself.
A companion coloring and activity book featuring scenes and characters from Finn's world. Designed for early readers and emerging colorists who want to bring Finn's adventures to life on the page.
House of Finn is the children's imprint of Tundalaya Publishing, dedicated to picture books and activity titles for ages 3–8. Every book published under House of Finn is illustrated, edited, and produced with the same care we'd want for our own children's bookshelf.
Kerry Carlson founded Tundalaya Publishing in Boulder, Colorado, after years of working in e-commerce, branding, and small-business publishing. She wrote Finn for the Win after watching her real-life Bernedoodle, Finn, chase a soccer ball with the kind of full-body joy only a dog can summon.
"Kids deserve stories where the underdog wins by being completely, wonderfully themselves." That belief — and a real dog named Finn — is the heart of everything Tundalaya publishes.
